CARING FOR BOTANICAL COLLAGE

As with all natural art there will be some degree of color change as the work ages. Fading and deterioration can occur more quickly with inappropriate care. We frame all Bird & Bevan work according to conservation standards, utilizing archival acid-free materials and UV filtering conservation glass. If you are having the work framed by your own framing professional, please request conservation framing for optimal preservation. Artwork, including work from Bird & Bevan, should never be hung in an area where it would receive direct sunlight. It is also best to avoid hanging in bright rooms and areas with high humidity, extreme temperature fluctuations or near heat sources.

ARTIST’S SIGNATURE

All work on paper is titled and signed by the artist in pencil on lower right. The Bird & Bevan seal is affixed lower left. The species information and other details are are offered on a self-adhesive label to be affixed to the backing after framing for easy reference. All other work is titled and signed on reverse with the Bird & Bevan seal attached.
